Terms of use
As of 5 October 2026
This is an English translation for convenience. Only the German version is legally binding: Nutzungsbedingungen (Deutsch).
1. Provider and scope
RegiLens is operated by schantastic e.U., Mattersburger Straße 26, 7000 Eisenstadt, Austria (see imprint). These terms apply to the use of the website, with and without an account, and to access via the Claude connector (MCP). For paid plans, sections 11 and 12 also apply.
2. What RegiLens offers
RegiLens is a research tool for company data from official registers and open data: search, company profiles with master data, people, shareholders, financial figures, history, grants, patents and trade marks, plus network, map and comparison. A free account adds watching, alerts, folders, notes, export and AI features to a limited extent; the paid Pro plan adds more (see Pricing). We may change, restrict or discontinue features; the free service gives no entitlement to any particular feature or availability.
3. Register data and calculated values
- We take over the information as the registers publish it and update it regularly. The entry in the register always prevails. We give no guarantee that it is correct, complete or up to date – registers may contain errors, and data may be outdated or assigned incorrectly when taken over (for example people with the same name).
- Calculated values – score, signals, ratios, revenue estimates, calculated indirect shareholdings and AI texts – are automated analyses and are marked as such. They are not information from a credit agency, not a credit rating and not advice, and do not replace your own checks. Matches in compliance screening only show identical names, not a finding.
- For important decisions, please check the information in the original at the register; the source is shown next to every value.
4. Permitted use
You may use RegiLens for your own research. You may not
- extract data automatically or in bulk (scraping, bots, scripts), except via the access routes provided for this purpose and within their limits,
- circumvent rate limits, blocks or other safeguards, including by using several accounts,
- use the data to harass, stalk or discriminate against people,
- pass on content in a way that infringes the licences of the sources (see Sources & licences, which also sets out the attribution requirements),
- disrupt operation or exploit security vulnerabilities.
Anyone who reuses personal data from RegiLens is themselves responsible for it under data protection law.
5. Account
You need a valid email address for an account. Keep your sign-in details secret. You can delete your account at any time in your account. We may block or delete accounts if these terms are breached; if we block an account, we tell you the reason where possible.
6. Liability
We are liable for damage we cause intentionally or through gross negligence, and for personal injury. We are not liable for slight negligence to the extent permitted by law. This also applies to damage resulting from incorrect, incomplete or outdated register data and from calculated values. Mandatory statutory rights of consumers remain unaffected.
7. Rights in content
The register data comes from the registers and is subject to their licences. The design, software, analyses and texts of RegiLens are protected by copyright.
8. Changes
We may change these terms, for example when features or laws change. If you have an account, we announce changes by email at least two weeks in advance; if you do not agree, you can delete your account. On the website, the version published here applies.
9. Governing law and jurisdiction
Austrian law applies, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. For consumers, this choice of law applies only insofar as it does not deprive them of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of their country of residence. The place of jurisdiction for businesses is the court with subject-matter jurisdiction in Eisenstadt; consumers may sue and be sued at their general place of jurisdiction.
10. Contact
Questions about these terms: contact@schantastic.com.
11. Paid plans (Pro)
11.1 Conclusion of the contract
You subscribe to the Pro plan with an account on the Pricing page or in your account. You choose monthly or annual billing, confirm the immediate start (11.6) and are redirected to the payment page of our payment service provider Stripe. There you accept these terms and take out a subscription with the payment button. The contract is concluded when the payment is confirmed; you receive a confirmation by email. The contract language is German. We do not store the contract text separately – you can access and save these terms here at any time.
11.2 Service, prices and payment
The scope and limits of the plans are set out on the Pricing page. The price shown at checkout applies. Payment is made in advance for the chosen term via Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe Ltd., Ireland) using the payment methods offered there. The invoice is sent by email and is available in your account under “Manage subscription”. schantastic e.U. is a small business: exempt from VAT under the small business scheme (Kleinunternehmer, § 6 (1) no. 27 Austrian VAT Act (UStG)); the prices do not include VAT.
11.3 Term and cancellation
The subscription runs for one month or one year and renews automatically for the same term unless you cancel it beforehand. You can cancel at any time with effect from the end of the current term – in your account under “Manage subscription” or by email. Until then, Pro remains active; afterwards, the limits of the free plan apply again and your data remains. If you delete your account, the subscription ends immediately, without a refund for the current term (except in the case of a withdrawal). We may cancel the subscription with one month’s notice to the end of a term, and with immediate effect for good cause (for example a serious breach of section 4); in that case, we refund paid, unused time on a pro-rata basis, unless the cause lies with you.
11.4 Late payment
If a payment fails, Stripe tries again over the following days and we inform you. Pro remains active until the end of the paid term. If payment has not been made by then, the free plan applies again and the subscription ends. Towards businesses, we reserve the right to claim default interest (§ 456 Austrian Commercial Code (UGB)).
11.5 Changes to prices and services
Price changes only apply from the next term. We announce them by email at least 30 days in advance; if you do not agree, you can cancel with effect from the end of the current term until then. We may change the range of features insofar as this is reasonable for you, in particular when registers, interfaces or laws change; material restrictions of Pro entitle you to cancel with immediate effect and receive a pro-rata refund.
11.6 Withdrawal information (for consumers)
Right of withdrawal. You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period will expire after fourteen days from the day of the conclusion of the contract. To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us (schantastic e.U., Mattersburger Straße 26, 7000 Eisenstadt, Austria, email contact@schantastic.com) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email). You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but it is not obligatory. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal. If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement. If you requested to begin the performance of services during the withdrawal period, you shall pay us an amount which is in proportion to what has been provided until you have communicated to us your withdrawal from this contract, in comparison with the full coverage of the contract.
Early expiry of the right of withdrawal. Pro provides digital content and features immediately after payment. Before we redirect you to payment, you expressly ask us to begin before the end of the withdrawal period and confirm that you are aware that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal (§ 18 (1) no. 11 Austrian Distance and Off-Premises Contracts Act (Fern- und Auswärtsgeschäfte-Gesetz, FAGG)). Booking is not possible without this declaration. We store the declaration with the time and send it to you by email with the contract confirmation.

Please send complaints about your subscription or invoice to contact@schantastic.com – we reply within 14 days. We are not obliged and currently not willing to take part in proceedings before a consumer arbitration body (Verbraucherschlichtungsstelle, Austrian Alternative Dispute Resolution Act (AStG)). For disputes arising from contracts concluded online, the Internet Ombudsman (Internet Ombudsstelle, www.ombudsstelle.at) would be competent in Austria; your right to go to court remains unaffected.
